I know you can get fiberglass ones, but im using a std subframe. In the opinion of the people on here, is the rear valance, and closing panels, providing any support to the rear subframe? |

seen alot of people not using them and mini miglias dont use them, i wouldnt of thoughts so but for mot perposes i dont think it would pass unless you use a rear beam, all though most mot guys i no miss things alot worse than no rear valance |

If its fitted it must be in good condition for the MOT as its within the specified area of a major mounting point but if its not there it wont fail the MOT - it is not structural I seriously doubt it! |

Cool beanz, I was less worried about MOT regs, it was more about the chassis stiffness. Good to know, that'll come off next then.. lol |

just make sure when you cut it off, the boot floor and the hinge panel are connected, when i cut mine off i had to weld the floor to the hinge panel. |

I left the lip on and cut it of just underneath so al the welding remaind together. Actually its only stuck on there with silicone and the bumper bolts... you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
