just a thought that i may need some i asked the shop to check the bores and new lifters for the build hoping its all good if not where could i find some over size Cam Followers? |

lifter bores are usually ok i think. you can have larger followers installed if you want to run very aggressive cam profiles as the diameter is the limiting step for the amount of acceleration you can get away with. Calver has a few race cams that use them That sir, is not rust, it is the progressive mass reduction system

with the more aggressive ramp (Sir Yun and Joe) is it the bigger diameter against the follower bore that helps the follower 'slip' vertically rather than horizontally ( ie not get jammed) or something else. excuse poor explanation - |

Surely if the follower is wider, the cam will start to lift it earlier ? |

like i say at this stage this post is a just in case i need some over sized ones the shop is going to check them out and let me know im just trying to be one step ahead so im not told hey you need some over sized followers and be all shit where the hell do i find those.. id rather it be a matter of no prob and just order them in.

the need for a wide follower is to stop the nose of the cam falling off the edge ,
