so im just watching you tube seen this thought its nice how they cruse on 91 little or no load and has 116 for more load/boost surely its the way to go for long term running/set up costs involved?

so i guess what im asking is there any reason why we cant do this on our minis? i think its a good idea although i dont really have a clue haha

whats involved with setting this up?

two separate parallel fuel systems to start with inc tank lines pumps regs injectors the lot
second signal from ms to turn the pump on at desired map settings
second tables fuel spark and so on

skip to 1:50 and 3:20 if you like

If you're running a carb that's not of any use, because when you boot it you're still running on the supply of fuel in the float bowl and then likely to cause damage to the engine.

Are you already pushing the limits of pump fuel ?

IMO there are cheaper and easier alternatives to race fuel under most circumstances. Especially if it involves the complication of two complete fuel systems.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

on something like a mini the extra weight is going to be an issue,
