Hi i have acquired a GT1549 from a diesel. to use on my 998 turbo scamp project and i have stripped it down to the core unit. I want to go through it with a service kit and im just wondering:

- Is a different seal set required for using the turbo on the petrol engine?

I've done a bit of searching and have seen carbon seals mentioned a couple of times but i was just unsure as to whether this was specific to the turbo's on topic or to the use of the turbo on a petrol engine.

Any info greatly appreciated.
