Stumbled across this shifter. Think it might work well in my Moke when I relocate the gearshift closer to the seats. Has anyone tried one?

All that money and all it does is replace the original gear lever. Is that really worth it? I'd have paid that much for a lever mechanism that would convert to sequential shift, or done away with the orginial selector housing and used control cables intstead On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

There have been various group buys on forums for the MINI, and these are rated very highly, although a lot of wonga! |

New rollpins and new bushes in the standard housing is the best £10 I ever spent on my mini, certainly wouldnt spend €700 on a stick Yes i moved to the darkside |

granted a nice bit of kit. However I quite like the fact they advise its only suitable for race cars but the photo shows it in a very tidy 'standard' road car! |

CAE do one for the BMW mini and its like 1000 euro's not worth it!
