I did it on my motor 18 years ago makes it a little stronger!

Nice to hear it made a difference. I'm trying not to cut the bulkhead, by using a Matty manifold, but will look into reinforcing it if needed. On 18th Nov, 2014 D4VE said:

, would it be possible/worthwhile reinforcing the edges of the bulkhead, either side of the bulkhead box, and fitting a brace?
