Tran-x and the minispares diff is the same item, if you call minispares they will tell you, although they don't write this in the press. Minispares diff is also known as the evolution isn't it? On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

Yes. Minispares own brand is the Evolution.

i'm using the moss copy of the minispares one as its the only one i could get at the time, other than the shitty minisport one. It's an exact copy though still with the offset pins etc and comes in a fair bit cheaper. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

so in review of the figures, the minispares (evolution) off set cross pin diff is the one to buy ?

been running the minispares poly diff for a year now, and yes its been OK, less torque steer which was a plesant suprise, so I can recommend it.

hi, tranx is quality stuff. they still make 4 pin and lsd s for very good value for money. buy mine from min-its, advertised in minimag. good price on sc drops and gearsets too |

just to help you make your mind up heres a pic of my minisport diff with less than a 1000 miles on it (mostly running in miles) and a mile up the drag strip. now i used minispares.
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
