When you say 'gear shift plate' do you mean a Ferari-esk plate with slots in?

I'd personally get the £££££ straight cut box bought, built, and in the car underneath an engine worthy of it before worrying about a pennies quick shift thing for it......

They change the same, they use the same shifting bits, unless you go for a dog box that is.

Oh, I thought you had to take care when changing down... I.e not droping from say 4th to 2nd... in traffic...

A normal SC box {non dog} is just the same as a helical box to use.

It is only 5 speed boxes they say dont use a quickshift.
I seriously doubt it! |
