I need the L shaped pipe that goes from the bottom of the turbo the the block. Think its an oil drain, mines split! Anyone know waht they are called so i can price one up? Or just got an old one that is recyclable? Can i also ask, do they usally have jubillee clips on them to hold them on? Mine didnt and thats what leaked causing me to take the engine out thinking it was the diff!!!

Yep, good experiment too! About 30 seconds and 1litre of oil was lost!!!

Maybe be able to get hold of new ones cheap, not original but the same quality.

ok iain! Maybe a cheap oil feed/drain combo!

That makes me feel so much better, ALL the oil in my engien was on sainsburys car park floor (still there now!!!!) so i was, up until 30 seconds ago, still dreading finding a crack of hole in the gearbox or something low down on the engine whne i put it back together. Handy for oil changes tho!

ok if you have one, add it to the head steady, and email your address to james.fawcett@btinternet.com and ill send the cash. Mine doenst look too bad, so im wondering if it had just popped off rather than split, but id rather not use it!

they should be, i honestly havent got the cash to lay out for an order at the mo as im trying to get my engine built asap.

the ones i get are lined as oil attacks the silicon. as long as its checked yearly id guess it would be fine though.

There is one of these hoses that you need on eBay at the moment.

Maybe this will do someone.
