Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Anybody got an old shell that they're scrapping and fancy cutting me a chunk out of? Ive scrapped a couple but havent needed this bit at the time, need to alter a remote change car to a rod change and thought this was the easiest and quickest way.

It has been modded to take a rod change box but i reckon this way would be much neater.

Cheers

Just to the flat floor section so i can make them meet, ill have to do something front and back but maybe about 18" long? i.e. 9" from the centre of the gear lever hole?

Where abouts are you? Going to any mini shows soon? *smiley*

Iain, i'm picking the 30 up tomorrow, i was planning on scrapping it once it was stripped (unless the shell is excellent) you'd be welcome to come over (Worksop) and cut out what you need.

Sounds like a plan mate! Would be very interested in cutting out a few bits and bobs if thats ok? Would be interested in a rear seat pan aswell, in fact a few bits of it if they are good *smiley*

Iain, got the 30 home last night, i've paid ?180 and expected to get a rot box with a good interior and a couple of other rare bits, but apart from a bodge job of a front end the shell seems to be in really good condition, no holes in the boot and the floorpan is mint, theres very little rust on the exterior either, it seems a shame to scrap the shell, which has buggered me up cos i planned on stripping and getting rid, so now i don't know what to do for the best.

the id of them has to be about the same size as the std mini rod on the gear change, I guess it's around 10mm??

See what you can dig up mate, some cash for you if you can find something.

I know some of the miglia drivers tried some cheeper ones, but they kept breaking
