tried EVERYWHERE in keighley for a T piece for the fuel lines, every little motorshop and all the main ones like halfords. I really need an 8mm one the smallest i can find was in motorsave which a guy showed me, it was for the washer jets though!

Anyone got one spare they can sell me, or knoiw a local shop that they could get me one from? Im kind of desperate to get it sorted, and wont mind paying more than what they are worth just to get one !

only thing is theres a high delivery charge at merlin. Thinking of buying intercooler pipes there though if jimster doesnt sell me his old ones. Tried the aquariums too! They had laods of different sizes, but none over 6mm, it then went to 10mm, 20mm etc

i got mine from a hydraulics company, its a plastic t piece and you push some plastic pipe into it and it bites onto it, rated at 10 bar and is fine with fuel. let me know if you need one, think it was only about a fiver with a metre of the pipe.

Got one, rung my MOT friend in pudsey in leeds. However, two of th elegs are 8mm,but the takeoff is 6mm. Shoul dhte 6mm output be ok for the return?

If it doesnt work, were going to mod the tank.

I had heard that putting a t piece in the fuel line is not the way to go ...

now I am only a novice but it kinda makes sense to me ;

if your regulator is trying to pass excess fuel back to the tank, you want as little restriction as possible,

if you t

the regulator has to the force the fuel back into the tank against the pressure of the gravity fed petrol from the tank

Assume a fuel tank of fuel .... thats one HELL of a restriction !

Not very sunny swanage

if your getting a mpi tank, why do you want a t-peice? surely you can just run the return all the way to the back? i understand the t-peice principle, for when people dont want to weld a return into the tank, but if youve already got a return,????

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!
