hi all,

i am in desperate need of a turbo engine and box, not too worried about price, but must be running. the bottom end i was gonna use is shot, so replacing the whole lot now. pretty urgent, as i need to have the car running by the end of the month. any help will be appreciated

i've got a full MG metro engine coming to me tomorrow if thats any good dude? i'm guessing you've already got the turbo head?

I'm also picking up a normal 1275 metro engine. i was going to use the box out of one of them, but i've got my eye on a gt box on ebay at the minute *wink* so may part with this one aswell.

If you're after one to bolt all your turbo bits onto then a normal 1275 will be your best bet rather than an actual turbo lump as these will have had less of a raping in their lives.

interested in the mg metro lump, have got a head on order, so will just swap all of that over. how much are you after for it?

yeah, i only want to run up to about 12psi, so should be ok with my head fitted. i hope!! lol

only way to find out is to work out the CR. 12psi is quite high though.

PM sent dude, i've managed to sort out some cash to get a s/c box now so i'm selling both of the 1275 engines, the non MG will be better suited to turboing even though 12psi is a little higher than i'd risk.
