I have just got a pretty rust free metro g reg 1990,gearbox goosed but engine fine, 9.1cr,maybe turboing it for a bit and then putting engine in mini.Or I may bung a spare 998 out the garage in it

So I would guess I need a fuel tank ,dunno what else.
I have all the dizzy/fuel reg/intercoolers

maybe turbo body kit/antiroll bars

Also the car is a cat d write off as the car has been payed out for by insurance(thinking stolen/recoverd)as no damage.

any ideas on getting a v5 for it,the metro is a blue 3dr 1.3l if this helps*wink*

bradford, west yorks

if you hand paint it black there might be a turbo V5 going unless you want to keep it a 1.3..... *wink*

It was off a turbo, and in the haynes manual it mentions it being a larger diameter but i can check it against a std metro later on if you like

just to add my bit.....later metros didn't have front dampers......

Handily Mini rear ones will fit straight on the front with no mods needed, have a look and you will soon spot where they go.

Makes the metros handle a lot better.
