right , looks like i`m moving soon , taking my old pc with me and hope to get back onto the net full time....library is ok for free usage but it blocks all the porn sites ... aanyone got any old PC bits they don`t want or wanta sell... Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

right mate from sounds could b a few things but without looking unsure, if it boots up sometime but then other time it does not its your hard drive. if it does not boot up at all could b your mothboard or your graphics card.
speed is the best rush i have ever had!!!

if u tell me probs mate i should b able to tell u whats up with it, got my GNVQ in IT, my national diploma in IT and my highnational diploma in business IT. speed is the best rush i have ever had!!!

you need to check the voltage supply of the power supply. There are a few different and there is one on there for mA start up. Make sure your power supply can supply this for long enough to start up. This is the most common problem when the fans start then stop right away. |

ok, then , the PC shop says i need new motherboard , processor and memory , any ideas what that should cost and what sorta spec i need ???

pc shop is shaftin ya mark, the mother board will be fine, just a bit old. drop the tower off with me old man, i will make one for you, i think i got a 1.6 gb athlone lying around somewhere, if not i will get it working, my loft is as computer bits, to your garage of turbos har har har. just drop it off with me old man and al sort it for you asap.
