Engine needed

Hi everyone, i am in need of a metro turbo engine and all ancilleries etc etc to put in my lovely deseamed austin shell :)
If not that then i need some pistons to drop the CR on my 1293cc Cooper S engine. Also the gearbox from a turbo engine could be handy.
Please let me know if you know of anything suitable.

turbo boxes are no better than std boxes... probbaly more knackered through use if anything!

Find a 998 :)

i have 3 standard mini boxes, i was under the impression that the turbo boxes were made a little more rugged to withstand the extra torque?

They have one bearing that is a small amount bigger (nose bearing into the transfer case)... but its not the bearing that usually casues much trouble! The main bearing, the layshafts, the gears and the diff are all the same!

Jimster has a complete engine going for about ?200 I believe....

Thank you very much :) i have sent him an e-mail in hope that he still has it, i seem to be on a wild goose chase when it comes to sourcing an engine, it will be worth it in the end though :)
