i'm after a standard turbo needle, or anything remotely standardish please for a HIF44. need one asap really as i'm off to a rolling road shootout on saturday, decided to have a play with the car today and i've gone and cocked it up On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

The needle also depends on any other mods you got i.e exhaust, air filter etc.
Whats going to break next!?

A BDL is a standard MG Metro needle, fine in an MG Metro but no bloody use in a standard turbo let alone a tuned version as Budd has.........

Bud I've got an old needle in my tool box... god knows what it is off - either a hif44 or one of my dads mgb carbs.

Sorry i saw the standardish HIF44 bit and was thinking of a normal non turbo carb. As for his engine being tuned i wasn't to know he didnt post his details. Whats going to break next!?

cheers for the offers dudes but i think i've managed to save it now. dug out my old needle from when i had it tuned at spams last year, its quite rich but goes better than before at full throttle just has a bit of a splutter and a grumble at part throttle on boost thats all.
