anybody got one kicking around that they would like to see go to a good home? for a turbo obviously. everybody seems to have bought them from minispeed (who i dont use becasue they annoyed me - really should get over it, theyre only 10 miles away) or avonbar. didnt really want to shell out for a new one, just thought someone might have an second hand one that they were willing to sell. let me know.

For ?30 id get a new one. There is always ebay. It doesnt have to be for a metro at all, the neck diameter is the only bit that matters.

I tend to get universal ones as they're better value.

fair point, any differance between them all? ie does it matter what i get, preseumably they all filter air, and unless there restrictive, theyre all the same right. induction noise shouldnt be too much of an issue since it will be right at the front, well away from the bulkhead.

Dont really find there is much induction noise at all really. never seems to be on a turbo, or atleast one ive had. Perhaps its drowned out by everything else!

Dont think you'll find a filter too small for your needs as most are well oversized! Just get one with the right size inlet to fit your pipe from the turbo.
