Anyone got a SD dash bar spare? or a SD door bar will do.
Preferable with its fittings.

Cheers

Door bars are universal, you tend to have to cut them to length, then either weld or bolt them together.

They are not ideal to use as a dash bar however. This is because the front uprights are not parallel.
You can see in the picture that I had the ends bent slightly to line up with the cage. 'The roll centre' did it for me, can't remember how much it cost, but they supplied all the approved brackets ready to weld on too.

The Safety devices is totally straight:

I think that a bar that has been used as a door bar might be too short for the dash.

You dash bar looks like one of my door bars, my door bars were really loooong when I got them, not sure if they'd be long enough though, as you say.

You couldn't use the brackets I have on a straight bar, but the ones you have work fine.

So many different ways of doing one job!

My dash bar is a door bar. BUT, my concern is that when buying an used door bar, this might be too short. From the factory they're WAY tooo long though.
The hump is where I keep my secret mods. *wink*
