998 ones are thinner peter - ie less 'suported' mass.

all the 998 ones I have, have got no damping at all. We only use a dampened on because we fitted the the MS. I have a non-dampened one if you're intersted.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Well - it's a 998 one - so It's probably better suited to 998 harmonics than a 1275 one - and I'm never going to use it.
