The boring bloke who runs this place.

Hey,

I've upgraded the forum. I've run into a load of problems while doing it, which I'm still working on. The forum seems really slow with this new code.

I've made the forum live anyway, as I think its probably better to have a slow, but online forum, than a dead forum for a week or so.

I'm going to work this week to get the changes done, and then hopefully the site should speed up a bit.

Bare with me.

-al.

edit: oh yeah, banners will be back later, too.

Tom - fonts are the same size, you've probably changed it by accident. (check in View in the top menu)

Loads of changes. The forum is now Valid Xhtml / CSS, sql is better (although still too heavy), code is better. generally better all round.

Looking good so. I apprechiate that it's still at the work in progress phase, but you might want to have a look at the search function, as it doesn't seem to be work quite right.

I hate seeing peeps sigs, especially when it's some stupid big picture. Despite having these turned 'off' I can still see them???

Scheme looks good apart from that. I miss the 'word safe' theme however...
