Smells of bull shite to me, lost all the receipts? Doesn't know the piston dish size? Looks like a NA race cyl head to me as opposed to a turbo one also? And lost all the receipts?

One to be wary of in my personal opinion.....

Thats a good point about avonbars other post, especially as they arn't a miilion miles away from avonbar, have they been made aware yet?

I pm'ed Avonbar on Friday, but I've not heard anything back yet, I suppose I could give them a call tomorrow (I'm guessing that they're closed on Sundays).

good point. shiny turbo with rusty manifold and elbow is the same as per the ebay advert...

Well, ignoiring for the artistic license in the text, the new turbo and carb are obvious. The crank and head have been worked, and there are some nice shiny pistons in there.

I can see this going for a good amount of coinage :)

Q: Has this engine ever been assembled? The top of the block just looks a little rusty? Is this from storage maybe?

Hi,just thought i would let you know what i came across myself after dealing through ebay.
I put amaximum bid of £394 for a vr6 stage 2 supercharger kit this item was being sold by user rupertmullins.After watching auction i lost but then got an email back from him stating i can have it for second offer as the original winner only had 1 of a rating and didnt want it so i took the chance and bought it.He originally asked for me to deposit funds into his wifes account zoe smith account number 02805994 sort code110001 but i was weary of doing that as he said his wife but yet her name was smith his was rupert mullins.so he asked me to post a cheque so i did the address he gave me was 332 greenlanes london n41bx.i asked him to email me when the cheque arrived to which he didnt so i emailed him 4-5 days later he replied that he has the cheque and its in the process of clearing.but for some strange reason his ebay account started changing with firstly his ratings being changed to private and also getting 3 negative ratings in the past month,i decided to look into it further then his account was changed to not a registered user anymore on ebay.i did a search online for his address he gave me and it turned out to be the athena hotel in london and the contact details that ebay gave me was the telephone number for a scout group in london.i managed at last minute to stop cheque (this morning).He had a numerous amount of items for sale all between the £500-£1500 at the end of his auctions.i have all the original ebay emails i got from him.the email address he used is rupert.mullins@yahoo.com.Hope this helps.
