the tyres are well pumped up, the hole thing needs a bit of a service.

try de-geeasing the wheelbearings and useing some "boss high speed lube" or similar from skate shops. makes a massive difference when skating, only trouble is the bearings need stripped and cleaned almost weakly on this stuff as opposed to grease. (its basically jsut a thin oil)

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

If you remove the "seams" or lip on the bin you could gain the valuable 0.2mph to get you to the 30mph mark. Its got to be causing some drag. *wink*

Painting it BMC greenwill make it quicker...well known fact. *wink*

If sponsors will allow, you could try some sick tyres, makes loads of difference with regards to drag. *wink*

Also get rid of the reflectors...lol

Hi,
Maybe a racing snake as a test pilot?
Get the hole saw out, there's got to be some weight saving opportunities in there?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Put some more weight in it. That will increase the terminal speed, but slow down the acceleration. So if you hill is too short you will go slower. It is a bit of a balancing act.

Looks cool though. Remind me of building simmilar thing as a yoof.

change ure tyres for slicks those mountain bike tyres will slow it down, u can get cut slicks for MTB wheels *wink* no good on snowy sections though :)

a couple of dive tanks either side of the cart with the regs facing behind you and a brave mate with a large wrench will speed it up a touch. WOOOOOOOSH
