I was watching that myself.

I think you got a good deal.

Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
Stephen Hawking - "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge."

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

well, if you add up the cost of those parts and the fact that the body has been sorted for you i don't think thats bad at all. I mean how much is a paint job these days!

plus its at the kind of stage where every thing can be seen and changed that bit easier if you don't like it.

for example, if it already had an engine in it, i'd be pulling it out to strip and check as a matter of course.

Looks good, never been a fan of starmags though! Sounds reasonable money if its got a nice solid rust free shell with a decent coat of paint.

I'd be tepmted to flog some stuff off it, like...

the coil overs, (and replace with REAL mini supsension), the servo, maybe the Kirkey (depending if its going on the road or not), the 13" wheels ( move to 10's)

that's just me, but the point is you could make some money back from some parts...

i personly like the starmags i do have a set of 10 and 13 inch revolution alloys in the garage would need to change brakes to fit the 10s tho dont you? Gonna flog the kirkey keep servo and coil overs its gonna be a road come track toy in the end

yes would probably need to change the brakes, I'd guess its had metro brakes put on, so by the time brakes were sourced for 10's that would ofset the money raised from the 13's...

but you get the general idea i meant,

look forward to some proper pics, hope its as good as it appears!
