hi

im selling this due to having 15cc dished pistons so the cr would be to low!
this would be good for a 1380 or somone using standed piston i would think.

If your remove an exhaust valve you should be able to see the line where the the hardened seat is.

ACD has a thread on MLM on this.

oh that looks like a nice head josh i used to have one like that.........

yer it is a nice head (i supose you would know!)lol
its a shame iv got to sell it, but as i came across some 15cc pistons a few weeks later the cr would be a bit to low! i worked out 6.79:1 cr!! thats wit hthe head gasket as well.
so iv got a standerd head now and it should be 8.16:1 cr with the pistons. should be good for some boost with the T2 im fitting!! carnt wait!

i take it you have to take the valve out to see if its unleaded? or can you look down the ports?

if you are going 1293 with 29 cc head, pistons flush, 15 cc pistons and 3 cc HG you will have a cr of 7,87:1 (letting the ring land out)

its exactly the same as Tom stated there, around 8:1. I wrote 8,16:1 (due to pistons flush)

then go read*wink*

And I dont mean to be harsh, but you have to divide the total volume (piston at BDC) by the remaining volume when piston is at TDC.

In correct letters written by heywood (author of internal combustion engine fundamentals) is : rc = maximum cylinder volume/minimum cylinder volume = (Vd+Vc)/Vc.

convinced?*wink*
