The Stig..

That time of year again.

The first race is this Sat @ Silverstone, the short National circuit.

The car is all prepped except for a duff front damper that is being built specially.

Qualifying is 10 and the race at 13.30/2 ish.

Sporting the number 1 on the car this year... *wink*

The rest of the season is as follows.

Saturday 31st March Silverstone National (MG Car Club)

Saturday 5th/6th May Croft (DDMC) (Double header - Sat race to count for points)

Saturday 19th May Oulton Park (MG Car Club)

Saturday/Sunday 23rd/ 24th June Silverstone International (MG Car Club)

Saturday 14th July Cadwell Park (MG Car Club)

Saturday/Sunday 28th/29th July Lydden Hill (BARC) (Double header - Sat race to count for points)

Saturday 15th September Castle Combe (CCRC)

Saturday/Sunday 6th/7th October Snetterton (MG Car Club) (Double header - Both races to count for points)


Hope to see some of you through the season, a keen pair of extra hands is always appreciated.

In a nutshell..

Qualified on pole by 2 tenths

Raced with Cockshoot bunch, migets, V8 MGB GT's, MGF's etc

Cockshoot started first in split grid, Metro start was 10 secnds after them.

Crap start, 2nd into Copse, 1st into Luffield, lost lead out of Luffield, but regained it later in lap 2.

Stayed out front all race but not without a scrap with second place in my mirrors all race.

Excellent race, overtook all but 2 of the Cockshoot cars.

Pole, win, 3rd in overall race, new lap record and Nominated for driver of the day.

Maximum 12 points to kick off the season.



Dad, Mum, Moi, Carloine and Jason(Butterpoppy)
