Screw anodised fitting into oil pressure gauge hole, tapered end into block, use a touch of PTFE tape. Screw T piece onto this. Then use other anodised fitting to connect oil pipe, and finally fit oil pressure sender using PTFE again. Easy.

Thats the problem Tom, the anodised fitting won't screw into the block, its the wrong thread, if i turn it round it goes in easy but i can't screw the t piece on as its the wrong thread, if you see what i mean.

Give Think Automotive a call they should be able to sort you out with an adaptor.

The thread into the block needs to be a taper type, if the adaptor is wrong send it back as Carl says.

Hi,
I'm sure I saw a picture of this last night, I searched this morning and can't find it. I may have dreamt it :$
The gold coloured long bolt replaces the banjo bolt for the metal oil feed pipe across the front of the block, then the gold adaptor goes in the top of it then the blue one then the tee piece.
If that fits then I'm right, if not I'm sorry *surprised*
If it does fit it's going to supply UNFILTERED oil to the turbo, which isn't a good idea at all :(
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Gavin, it fits to the oil prsssure sender hole, not the filter pipe banjo. I have oil cooler pipes connected there.
But cheers anyway

Bud, it looks like i have those three pieces, the T, the fitment for the braid oil pipe in your picture, but the block fitting is exactly the same as the other, i think it shound be the same at each end. will have to give avonbar a ring for a replacement.

chinlesswonder, in your first picture you have the two adapters in the wrong place. the one between the oil feed and the tee-piece in the pic should go into the block, according to buds diagram

My feed pipe is banjo at one end only, going to the turbo. In my picture, the loose fitting on the right, i have two of.Only one end of it will fit into the block, if i screw it in the block, the only thing i can attach to it is the turbo oil pipe.

Hi,
Does the blue barrel nipple on the right fit the turbo? If so could you then use the banjo at the block end?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Ok, tried the fitment, it goes in the turbo fine but the pipe pouls the manifold, daren't screw it in any tighter.

This looks like the right way for the turbo end

yeah, there should be 2 different male>male adaptors in the kit, the banjo end is definately for the turbo.
