Well, after all sorts of trauma my car is (sort of) running well again. There's just a bit of noise from the transmission and the turbo/actuator plays up occasionally.

So excited that i thought i'dd post some up-to-date pics.

There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake.

Yes it's a snap off hub, I got it from a japanese Ebay shop. Its ok but it brings the steering wheel about 1"1/4inches closer! Does come in handy when popping to the shops :) much better than an alarm. Drive it away now you pikey bastards!!

sweet setup, what sort of clearance do you have with the pipes coming over the rocker cover?

Very nice looking car...*smiley*

Love the dash...

See what you mean about the servo, but as some one once said "the intercooler is not the icing on the cake its more cake"

Cheers

Cheers Guys!

Steve: Don't worry, I will be calling you again soon to get the manifold and exhaust elbow sorted. I've got to get this weird turbo/actuator problem sorted first though. I will contact Avonbar for the upgraded actuator first. It's running 10 psi at the moment but it's achieve using a bleed valve. So a 10psi actuator and the airfilter you mentioned are on the shopping list.

I have adjusted the mixture so that it's not quite so rich (it was overly rich) and i can already feel the benefits of the head that you did for me.

I've been having some serious fun! Even with one of those Bini cooper s GP JCW things lol!

joeybaby83: That side of the engine bay has caused me no problems whatsoever. I dont see how it has never fouled the bonnet, but it hasn't! The other side is the pain.

Thanks again guys for all of your help. I am learning all the time and your assistance is always much appreciated.

Very smart. Are the arches the ABS group 5s?

A set of carbon bumpers would finish it of nicely IMO.

Looks the part mate.

But Id be making a bit of room under that bonnet. Whether it means removing the inner wings or gettng rid of the servo.

I like the back of it.

What size lump is it again?

Back once again like a renegade master

Sorry I seem to have messed up my new posts thing again!!

Here are the belated answers...

Arches are fibreglass group 5's
Mirrors are from a jap company on the bay.
minimadj - the servo is probably going to go in the bin pretty soon. It has caused me so much grief!!

Sorry about the delay in the replies guys!!
