So in a unprecidented stroke of luck for me, a savings scheme I started in at work two years ago is looking to pay me out a bumper sum in Jan 2009.

After having dismissed such boring options as a new kitchen in my house, and paying some off the mortgage, I am thinking of buying something fast!

So suggestions please chaps, only criteria really is that whatever it is needs to hold some of its value and not depreciate like hell after a couple of years.

It would be Jan 2009 so stuff that will be around the 8k mark then.........??

I had thought of those, apart from the bike option, I don't trust myself on one of those.....

LOL Jo! I don't think Lisa would be too impressed with that one though!

I do quite fancy an Evo 6 I must say.

If it was me it would have to be a TR6 PI 150, fast is a relative term, but it'll hold it's value.

It aint fun but it can hold its value. If you get it cheap. Some land or properties. Or some stocks.

Although i would like to see the TF turbo mini finished as well...

Build a bike powered kitcar, you have the space, are capable, would be fun to build and ofcourse drive..

When you get bored sell it and break even unlike buying a rapidly deprechiating Evo or scooby or such?

Just a thought?

Lancia delta intergerally (SP), if you can put up with it being left hand drive?

They go for around 8K and should hold there value reasonably well.

Oh and they fairly rapid aswell. *wink*
