Don't the decision seem abit harsh with Mclaren losing all manufacturers points? Bit of a Ferrari fan, but a employee with technical data affect a whole company???

thing is that it was an ex mclaren engineer contracted not to go to another team due to reasons like team secrets. it was the emails he sent to mclaren that did them over i think. the evidence the court has recieved must have been overwhelming for them to use such a big punishment - the manufacturers championship was worth well over the $100m fine to them too. thing is that they can afford it. at least they havent docked points from the drivers because that truly would be unfair. yes - all owned by fiat, but i think formula 1 is far too restrictive anyway - check the speeds of the top le mans cars - less restrictive and it really shows - more exciting too On 23rd Oct, 2009 sim_ou_nao said:
