Really. How do you find it?

I'm just finishing my first year of a degree course in this. So far I have found it interesting, though next year sound like it gets a lot more relevent to building surveying.:)

A1 job, long hours, but pay is good, and fairly interesting.

This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting.

Ahh pretty interesting!

Ive got a BTEC National Dip. in mechanical and maufacturing engineering.

Im currently coming up to finishing (hopefully) an HND in motorsport engineering at Swansea Met. Uni but have been thoroughly disappointed with the course!! Severe lack of motorsport'ness - course organisation is a joke and no-one seems that fussed about teaching properly.

Really trying to figure out what to do from here, ive thought about back to college and a uni qualification in something else, or an apprenticeship, maybe just start working!!

Its rather cack now im 21 i feel like i should have a firm direction instead of fannying around!

Interesting to hear what all you lot do :)

Where did you get your HND? Was it worthwhile?

Graduated doing electronic and electrical engineering, couldnt get a job in glasgow, so have ended up falling back on my hobby and now im basically a mechanic/diagnostic tech(EEE deg comes in handy *happy* ) in a garage that specialises in tuned jap crap. long hours and not amasing money. would still love to do soemthing a bi tmore in line wiht my degree, as i love electonics and programming, but unless i move to aberdeen or down south im out of luck.

i dotn wana be doing this forever tho. so at 25 i feel like im lost wiht no path to follow aswell.
