Im looking for a fan for my radiator that is 9" X 40mm (or thinner). Ive found a few on ebay etc. that are about 50-60mm thick but I need one slightly thinner?

just a thought, not sure if they'd pull enough air but what about using a couple of slimline pc fans. I think some of the ones used in overclockers cases are pretty powerful.

Do alot of PC Case modding for people, I doubt the 120 fans would be fast enough |

one thing to take into consideration mate is that alot of pc-fan components are thermo plastic, not thermo setting so they might melt on a car rad? |

a pair of bike fans would be ideal size wise, but people seem to feel they lack oomphh? "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

The thinnest I've found is the MPI fan, I'll try and remember to measure mine.
