forgot to mention the head studs and rod bolts are ARP rather than stock items

this is a damn shame but i understand where your coming from mate
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

this is cheap just price an engine up at MED without ALL the ancillaries ........ and then you have all the car which is dam SPOT ON! the wheels tyres and all to boot

Dont do it mate, push it in the garage and leave it there. Find money else where. If you cant afford to finish it then leave it a year. Take time off from it, chuck a blanket over it and forget you even own it.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

at request of interested parties i have taken recent pics of the engine bay, the plumbing needs to be finished for the rad, i have the header tank etc etc just needs rubber hoses. the plumbing for the cooler is done though. the photo on the vice is the peice for the turbo which me mate will tig up i had to cut and turn it as it was not quite right.

It's a shame you have to sell it, but I'm sure that you've thought it through. The only think that I'd say is that unfinished projects don't sell for much, although you don't want to split it I reckon you would sell it allot easier & get more money if you did. Alternatively have you thought about just selling the engine (and keeping the car) this will get you nearly as much as selling the whole car as a project, and will allow you to continue with your build when things improve. Rob it only needs a small amount of wiring though, not talking unfinished project ie rollish shell which needs welding up and painted etc etc
