Need a new jack, someone posted about these a year or two back I think, but cant find the thread

Are these any good or not?

Ive seen the same ones ranging from £60 to £150 just with different brand names on with one big front roller

Then some other ones under brand names like arkan(£110)/facom(£299) which look similar to above but with 2 side rollers at the front

Are these all from the same chinese factory or does the quality vary amongst them?

Saw one of the cheaper ones at a rally a few months back and it looks completely fucked, wasnt that old either...

we have a clarke one in the workshop - around £75 and money well spent in my opinion (not that I paid for it!)

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/...ck/brand/clarke

about £92 compaired to the sealey one at £140

aparently the oil seals in the sealey ones are prone to leaking but this is only something i have heard from a friend who's company had a few

hmmm, for the same price as that clarke one, i can get a 3 tonne sip one delivered:

http://www.machines4wood.com/mall/productp...uctid=ITSP07276

so just not sure what to go for?

im sure the sip will be durable (I own a volvo t5 estate aswell as the mini), and no doubt still be going strong in years to come...can the same be said for the clarke though?

had to get the clarke and that barely goes under, i have to nudge the side of the car up by hand.

it looks good and seems well made.
