Woke up this morning (about 5:30) with a bit of a shock, there were people in my house.. I legged it down stairs to find the TV gone and the back door open.. quick look confirmed that also the dog was missing. I panicked and ran back up to get some jeans on, looked out the front couldn’t see anyone, back down, shoes on and out the front.. Cars gone (not the mini)..

Took my keys etc and some other stuff and made away in my own car… im gutted.

Luckily the dog was just out the front and no one was harmed..

police say they are targeting quick cars.. and thats what they were after.

Now I feel sick and a bit scared.. anyone know how to loose this shitty feeling?

thats shit that, BASTARDS!! i have a feeling you might have the feeling for a while but it is probably a good thing you missed them at least nobody was harmed. i always put the house alarm on at night after hearing such stories, cars are getting imposible to rob nowadays so they need the keys.

Got an alarm too. A small safe (hidden) would also be a good place to put your keys. Another good idea I saw was a pin code remote immobilser. Even if they've got your keys it won't start without the pin number.

just bolt up the doors etc make sure the dogs food has not been fucked with and he has not been injured at all...after that slap the shit outta him for not doing his job !

get your keys etc and take em upstairs, check your gardens and make sure you dont leave anything in them ie garden spades, a Burglar can do any PVC unit in around 60 seconds with a spade and entry is usually gained quietly. i had some issuas a while back with folks getting into my garden but i fixed this with a row of pungie sticks and carpet gripper rod bonded onto the top lip of the wall then painted with bitumin ! works a fuckin treat.


Mark you will feel like you do for ages its only natural but the good thing is you will be more security concious over the silly season.

get an alarm fitted and sack the dog i have adopted a fully automatic assault rifle under my bed rather than the bat, she only fires paint but it comes out at 300fps and at 20bps ! Penelope is a good equaliser in my home

iam lucky in that respect my dog savages hoodies and hates unknowns coming into the house.


also i got a GSM remote imobiliser and alarm i can kill my car from anywhere in the world with my phone.

same thing happen o my mate at work, loaded his car up with the TV, computer phones etc then casually drove of.....bastards! sorry to hear that bud. hopefully your insurance will pay out and you won't have to argue(like my mate did) for the sat nav and ancillaries that arn't covered under most contents or car insurance!

my keys are kept on my bedside cabinet, i have a breaker bar down the front of my bed and a few other things dotted around my room just like my car. some people will try it on anywhere anytime i always try to be prepared. tbh i would probably shit my self and run but there we go.
