Major decission on the horizon

Ok. Currently my car is black with a dark metalic grey roof and wheels colour coded to match. The decission is whether to respray the car in old english white keeping the the roof and wheel colour but colour coding the mirrors oil cooler and intercooler (when it arrives) to match) and changing to a Mk1 grill without the edge trims. Its a split debate with those who have stood beside the car.

And yes most hate the kit, Vegard is currently clawing out his eyes
and the wheels are cartoon big.



Forgot to say the intercooler is going into the chin spoiler.

MK 1 grill would be better, but I think the colour is fine as is.

I don't think OEW would suit it.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I absolutely hate the kit. arches etc but the overall package does look good in black/grey.

If you're respraying it, I think white would look awful, but have you considered metallic black instead of gloss - it might complement the wheels/roof a bit better.

It will be on its way back to bare metal tonight or latest the weekend so that leaves 3-4 days before the primer goes on and then crunch time.

But leave it as is seems to be the firm fav.

I'd keep the dark colour - while I don't like the kit per say, it does suit the car and I think with something so extreme, a dark subtle colour is best

I like it as it is too, perhapse a cooper grill on it rather than the mesh one. Don't be put of by people not liking the wheels/bodykit, it's not normally my sort of thing but I like it!

Yeah mr joshua keep the colour the same sort of style. A light colour in my opinion wouldn't look quite right. And yes lose the mesh grille, a cooper one would look the muts.

I couldnt think of anything better than the black.

Im not normally a fan of big kits and wheels but i really like this!! Those wheels just look crazy big very different

Thanks for all the input guys but due to recent events The car will be going old English white with detailing in gun metal grey. I am doing this as a tribute to my friend who was killed on Friday as mentioned in another thread.

It was an idea he proposed we do, so do it I shall. My mate who showed me how to spray is all in to get this done so fingers crossed it comes out well.
