Spoke to my Dad at the weekend, and we need rid of our old Motorhome, Its in need of work, but basics are

Mini Winnie Style
1978 Ford Econoline 350 Base
Recently freshened up 351 Windsor V8 prior to being replaced with our current rig.

No MOT
No Tax
Been Standing for a couple of years, and needs a tidy up was a reliable work horse for racing before we replaced it. but time hasnt been kind, it does look rather sorry for itself a bit grubby/etc. but if anyone fancys a project, either motorhome, or turn it into a flat bed transporter its complete.

4 berth
Shower
Toilet
Cooker
Fridge heating
sinks.

Well I popped home at the weekend and we spent a little time on the Winnie

Gave it a quick wash off and it looks alot better now then we set about making noises

It Runs!
It Moves!
It Stops!

Didint take long, a little bit of fresh fuel in the carb, some fresh fuel in the tank, and bob was your mothers brother. she fired up, let her warm up then tried to move. selected drive and of she moved no signs of stuck on brakes etc, just a bit of an exhaust blow.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Even we were surprised how well it cleaned up it was covered all all sorts of crap and mildrew. the cab looked green!.

Another feature I just remebered it has a LSD too idelal for getting out that muddy camping field.

My brain is telling me to bite your arm off and come and collect this and put it on ebay and make a few quid, but I'm far to honest for that.

To be honest this is too good to break, why don't you put it on ebay and make a few quid?? If you can't be bothered, then I'll happily take it off you.

I used it at Avon a couple of years ago, it was excellent.

i resorted to staying in my work shop for a while,but this seems a better option....lol

Unfortantly EssexSteve cannot get the motorhome down the side of his bungalow, so its still available,

first to come and collect gets it!

We want this to go to a good home where it will be a project and get some use out of it. so we do not want to see it on EBAY in the next few weeks/months.

While I was talking to Essexsteve he was willing to offer a donation towards dads race fund for the motorhome.

So in this spirit If the collector makes a donation as they see fit towards Dad race fund we will donate 10% of this donation to the forum server fund! I trust this is ok with the Mods/Admin team.

So Come and get it, It does not come with a battery as I used the one of my car to start it last weekend and its back on my car, so bring a battery and your chosen method of transporting. Best day would be this saturday if you want to come and get it this weekend.

im trying to think of reason why not to come down and get this this weekend

in all honesty, what, if anything might be needed to get it roadworthy? is the chassis in decent nick?

would it make it back to liverpool docks?

we have quite a stringent test here on the isle of man (like a souped up version of the mot) that every vehicla has to go through once to get manx registered, then its never tested again

if i thought it would get through the test without too much pallaver, id have this in a second
