won these tonight on ebay, aircraft bolts 1/4 and 5/16 unf gorgeous and totally ott but looked sooo lovely i couldnt resist

CHECK THE BOLTS ON THAT CENTRE MAIN CAP KIT!!!! Three lines on the head of the bolt are bad news. DO NOT USE. Get ones with 6 lines. There was a big discussion on this forum regarding the quality of bolts supplied in those kits.

Yep had heard that but these are 6 dash, Having said that a mate works on catipillars and is getting me some hardened washers and some better bolts, the guys 70 something and seems to know everthing! Gets all the press releases on cat up grades and why they did it. He recons cat bolts are some of the best available and cheap ish. If anyone wants some let me know before sunday night and see what i can do

its ap or so i was lead to believe? bought the plate and grey cover for £100 at standford hall :0).
It does look a little extreme doesn,t it lol.
Cant wait to see what its like, it'll be fine im sure! power wise im looking for 150 plus but dont know enough yet to guess! Irelivent any way cos its faster than i ever imagined it would be with a stock metro set up and 1/2 bar. Sure it'll be fooking mental though whatever it makes based on what its like now! And thats from an ex tvr owner! dare i wish for 200 plus?

If it was me mate i'd be not using it for now and get an ap race rally plate, it will make the car really nice to drive and will hold 150 bhp all day long. I know cars with around 200 and it hold ok.

The plate is an AP (going by the hand writen number on it )
