Has anyone got a GT17 and a mini with NO bulkhead box, that they would be willing to trial fit a manifold for me? Ive got one tacked together and want to check it fits ok before I weld it all up.

Cheers
Matt

Did you just need to see for clearance?

I'm sure that Paul S has posted pics of a GT17 on a mirage manifold fitted with bulkhead in place.

Edit: Theres this pic at the bottom of this thread too if it helps.

Ive tried it out in mine...even though I do have a bulkhead box. What do you guys recon...I can't remember how far out the cross member sticks out?

Oh yeah, I have a adjustable tie bar fitted set to 166mm between centres. No idea what the standard length one is? *oh well*

I'll make a bracket up for the actuator, still not decided whether to keep it in the original location or move it to the drivers side though. *oh well*

Im going to try and make a funnel shape to blend the pipework into the flange...fingers crossed it goes ok!

I got the pipework from ebay. :)

I think that you will need to remove the old actuator bracket from the compressor housing and rotate it so that you can get it in closer to the block.

As you have it at present, I think that will hit the bulkhead.

That would of made things a whole lot easier but I couldn't justify the cost! *surprised*

I tried it again, and all seemed good, with a tilt on the engine there should be plenty of space...hopefully! lol
