yep take the turbo off

Have a search as this has been talked about a few times, iirc charge robbing is the problem here

The first trouble will to find/build an inlet manifold to go with the std metro turbo one as none clear it.

Or make an of the shelf exhaust manifod (perhaps use a mirage one butI don't know if the mirage one could clear a twin carb inlet,

then choice of carbs: best would be a twin bike cv carbs, or a twin hif38. using a pitot tube to make the boost sens.
exactly what I was planning to make for five years, good luck for setting these *wink*

But the std mety set up can make enough torque /power to blow clutch/gears/diff/ continuing eating crank trust and bearings so why would I need twincarbs?

When I sometime think of these today, I end each time at looking to a 7 port set up, easier, and certainly not that far (cost/time wise).

Why? Miniwilliams makes around 300BHP using a single HIF44. Can't see any advantages to using any other carb.

i was going to try this but APBELLAMY has a point. single hif44 is more simple and yet the power acheived is plenty enough..

Correct, its been discussed time and time over, if you want to do it and have the material/skills to do then go for it. It will be different from the norm if you get it working, however as the lads say 1 carb ia fully upto to it.

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

If you never seen jukka's blow thru dellorto set up or a Janspeed one,
I'm now a bit embarrased,
look for jukka or janspeed in the search function of this nice forum,
perhaps Veg will disinterred one before....

I don't see why people won't consider EFI instead. I don't think it would be as complex as getting a correctly working twin carb setup (or Weber/Dellorto carb setup).
