Hi, I am Peter, the Editor of the new Mini magazine MAGA7INE, or Seven Magazine, a brand new Technical and Restoration Classic Mini quarterly journal.

I have been registered on the forum for quite some time but thought I would register as the Editor as well for official magazine business to avoid confusion.

We actively support this forum and will be advertising here and offering AlexB space in the magazine spread the word on this amazing community, as well as drawing on the technical expertise of many members here for articles and project development.

We aim to put something back into the Mini community and as such will be sponsoring the collective not for profit development of several exiting new performance products and writers' projects for the benefit of all Mini enthusiasts regardless of whether you buy our magazine or not.

We are aiming to publish issue 1 in spring this year and extend a warm welcome to everyone to participate in MAGA7INE.

A huge thank you and happy new year to all on the forum who have helped the magazine along and to all the advertisers who have come forward to offer support. It is greatly appreciated!

Thanks! MAGA7INE will be in the shops and you will also be able to buy it direct off our website using a credit or debit card either as a single issue or a subscription which will be cheaper than Smiths etc.

Currently, MAGA7INE will be published quarterly and be a premium quality publication much like The Rodders Journal, with amazing quality paper, content and design, more like a book than a magazine with masses more tech and resto content as well as mouth watering feature cars. 100% Classic Mini.

We have writers all over the world, Canada, New Zealand, France, Australia, the US in LA, Norway, San Fransisco, Colorado, mid west states, so lots of content for overseas readers and yes, it will be available world wide via our website!

Our features will be in greater depth with class leading photography and art direction. We have the most talented tech and resto writers, names to be announced later this year with several regular tech columns full of facinating and accurate tech and resto information.

On top of this, we have dedicated workshops for the magazine and access to rolling road, dyno and flow benches for our engine builds and modification. No guess work in MAGA7INE!

Issue one comes out spring 2006.

Peter

Nice idea, our rolling road in phase 2 of the refurb will be capable of 1/8 and 1/4 mile simulation runs, perfect for the 2007 drags! Will be able to lay on very cheap accomodation and some beer as well I would think. Doing a deal on a new premisis in the next few weeks as I expect to outgrow our current workshops fairly quickly. Full of stashed future project cars at the moment.
