This just turned up in the post. I was sold it as a good 'un what do you reacon? I know what I think of it.....

it doesnt look too good.... assuming the edges of the blades are shiny because they have been rubbing on the casing!

Is there play in the bearings, a little up and down is ok, but any in and out is bad news!

Hi,
Plenty of play in all directions. I can get the blades to rub on the casing if I pull it across to one side and turn the shaft. that light grey area in the intake is where the blades are rubbing. Please advise, I don't want to put it on to get a few weeks out of it before it explodes! *surprised*

You need a new one.....

It will scream like a b*t** and eventually make no boost at all..... but it will slow add metal filings to your intake!!!

Dont run it.

it`s not good it`s a bin job it looks like the engine was run with no air cleaner for some time or some shit in the intake pipe rolling a round in there (can i see sand or grit in there)

Looks worse than the one i used as an exchange unit and thought that was fu**ed!!!!

Its so wrong for stuff like this to happen, theres no way anyone could have thought it was usable and ok to sell on.

mate you should name who sold you it, but make sure your comments are constructive, ie this item clearly is wrecked, even to me the novice i can see that it is a total loss ! i had a bad experience with a forum user who rarely gets on here now. Is he from Birmingham ?
