That looks great, do these conversions fit under a standard bonnet? Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Mine needs a tiny weeny bump on the bonnet for the front of the head, your timing gears look to be a tad bigger than mine, maybe yours will touch a bit more even?

Well i dunno about the turbo installs for fitting under bonnets but i have got about maybe 1/2 inch of clearance on the top of the cam cover to the bonnet. Mine has been tilted slighty back to allow for the carbs i am using to begin with, and the fact i am not putting a turbo in to start helps.

Looking good Ant! I'll bolt mine together again and post a pic. I think Sproket uses puma and 1.25 zetec bits though could be wrong. Yup, Fiesta 1.25 Zetec sprockets. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Well i found it first from MadMatt, then 1071s who pointed me onto a bloke who done an 8v version on a 998 or 850?? in 1989? Then i heard of Simon at Morspeed doing it and then Jimster and then Mini sprocket. Although everyone has slightly different ideas about things which is good!!!

I think the 8v claim is the canadian, the first 16v was a frenchman named Bruno Roulle - Matt's was the next i saw before the Morspeed unit.

I had a similar thing with Ebay and eventually Paypal got me the money back. All depends if the seller has anything in their account I think. |

Ah, sorry i havn`t been able to give you guys an update on mine, but it`s simply because mine is in bits again, but , it`s only in bits because i need to sort the machining/copying of all the conversion items to be able to package deal sell them,,,so,,, i have the new "Adaptronic" computer, the turbo, manifolds, intercooler etc is all ready & waiting & as soon as all my bits are back from the machine shop, then i`ll be sticking it all back together & in the car & doing a Rolling Road tuner-upper-thingamejig www.miniman.com.au
