I'd like to summarize now and put this topic to bed if I may, as otherwise its just going to keep on going round and round in circles;

So, everyone has a right to their own point of view on a subject, there is no getting away from that; in addition in many cases not everyone will share the same views, and this obviously causes some conflict. What we have had I believe is a healthy discussion on the topic, so let us now move on, safe in the knowledge that people have had their chance to put their points across, and even if people with differing views do not agree with you, maybe they have considered your viewpoint more than they previously might have done.

I'll leave it at that.

And I'll not say eny more about the law abiding, worthwhile citzens of the UK who have now made it four times, bringing a hi-ab with them and 'helping' my father out by driving through a gate and loading a few large pieces of agricultural machinery into the back of their truck just two nights ago.

I'm sure a gentle chat, and maybe a slap on the wrists will be sufficient to encourage them to change their ways.

Don't offer anymore sympathy, as it is not deserved for us. Indeed, say a prayer for these folk, just doing what they cn to get by - one day at a time.

Good thread though...different views..and no one throwing their teddies.

Thieving scum gypsy pikey non tax paying interbread scum....

They did a BT yeard I was working at, ramraided the padlocked gate and had away a load of armoured copper cable. Despite having CCTV the they were undetered and the vehical was unregistered..a true pikey sign.

very true Bat...no tax means no insurance! Then they hit some innocent person on the road...even someones child! The police/government made so many laws up...shot themselves in the foot in the process!
