You won't be able to do less than a 3.44. The OD of the diff unit is fixed - and hence one tooth height (3/4 at a pinch) is needed above this. In short - you ain't getting anything taller.

IMO, as far as turbocharged cars go...I dont really see the point of a 5 speed, unless you can make an overdriven 5th gear.
