it should communicate with the lap top as long as it has a 9V battery connected.

Found the problem with not being able to find the MJ...Lol..I wired the power supply by crimping into a bullet connector the connector wasn't pushed back together properly so I wasn't getting any power to it!

Good news it has got a map, not sure what map it is or how copy and paste it onto the thread though! Getting there slowly! :)

LOL

Out of interest what configuration software are you using?

You might be able to get the map up onto the thread using the print screen button.

Hi,
When you press the print screen button it appears to do nothing.
But when you open up "paint" (Start>accessories>paint) and click EDIT then paste, it'll magically appear. Then all you have to do is save it as a jpg and post it up in the usual way *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin :)

The new verions of the software automatically open up the map in the MJ if you are connected and powered up.

that bottom one looks like an NA map to me, just going off the scale on the side.

Can't make out any of the values in the boxes though

Yea the frimware and software should be right. The only reason I had the old software was because I was doing some research before purchasing, by the time I bought it a newer version was realsed.

personally i wouldnt be running 34 degrees advance untill on an unsetup engine. when i was running mine in i just put the same figures in all the boxes (like running a fixed dizzy) think i used 23 degrees whilst i run mine in, not 100% sure on that but do a search and the "safe" ignition setting is on here some where

Bottom one is NA.

Top one is for a turbo - but its a "soft" map. To get the most out of it you will need to get it mapped.

This is ofcourse assuming that the EDIS and MJ are talking :)

Have you tried unplugging the MJ and going for a drive, then repeating it with the MJ connected - there should be a BIG difference in power, when it comes on boost etc etc

When is it going to the RR? Would love to know what it gets.

Are you going for biggest power possible, or a modest and durable figure?

Ive got to fit an electric fan first, but hopefully sometime in early march.

I just want to put a few miles on it over the next few weekends to get any teething probs out the way. Also need to fit bleed valve aswell.

As for the setup im going for power, if I have to cover the car in K & N stickers to get a few more nana's I will. Lol

Not sure where to take it yet? Ian took his to Stuart Gurrs and he seemed to get good results, that was without the jolt though!
