We had 2 hours to reassmeble it on Saturday, which wasn't good!

Everything was just slapped on so I could drive it home.

Im fitting some more bits up tomorrow, and then I need to find some decent quality group 5s for it.

yep it certainly is the fun bit, putting it back togeher.*smiley*

I fitted grp5 euro style arches (pics uploaded today) from ABS with concealed screws, if I was going for black arches I would either go for the wood and picket arches or hudderfield mini spares grp 5. *smiley* They look a bit more sporty imo

Edited by Brocky on 4th Mar, 2007.

BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

Cheers for the positive comments guys. :)

Josh went for (camp) VW Harvestmoon Beige, off the new beetle, all of the Old English whites looked really white compared to Harvestmoon.

I'll have a look at Huddersfield ones, did they fit ok, or was there lots of filing involved?

To be honest the ABS one were a night mare, and were 80 quid.

There was lots of shaping and filing needed.

I would have a look at minispares-online.co.uk I think these screw straight on. The ones on the silver bike engined mini look cool

Cheers

Have to say thanks to my mate Paul for sorting the oven/sprayer out and bargain price.

And Ian (Wes on here) for helping reassemble and for bringing a KFC over When I was VERY hungry and unable to eat. Lol

Hi Matty, what rad have you got in there? I notice you had to cut out the cross bit but was that for the rad or the intercooler?

Cheers Alex.

TBH, made a bit of a school boy error with that, I cut it out to fit a corsa rad and decided to fit a chinquecento (spelling?) instead, it would fit without cutting it out though.

My next trip to a scrappy I'll probably cut the front section out of another mini and have it as aremovable panel. It comes in handy with it removed as you don't need a hoist to get the ngine in and out anymore. *wink*
