It was made by LAMM in Germany, the same people who coachbuilt the first run of 75 cabriolets for Rover in the early 90's. I've absolutey no idea if LAMM are still going, I've not heard them mentioned for ages.

That Atofashion kit is for 7" rims and is unlikely to fit if my "Magic" (as in you need to be bloody Merlin to stand a chance of getting it on the car) is anything to go by.

I know the kits that ABS do ..... they do a perfect ... as in interchangable with the original ... cabro style kit.
They also do a Euro Lamm kit that is for 7" rims.

I have spoken to Terry a lot lately, he's a top bloke and when your after fibreglass bits for your Mini I'd recomend you ring him first ... save's you shopping around!!!

Anyway ..... I have found an original kit liek the one Neil has .... it was a struggle and is the last one!!!! Don't ask what it cost .... I'm not telling anybody .... mainly because you'd all think I'd lost the plot!!!!!!! Should be with me May ish.

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

By the way .... we should chat sometime .... if nothing else you might be able to tell me how it was to fit .... instructions don't exist anymore and they were German only anyway.....

Sorry Rog I'll be a bit more careful next time!

The kit as it came was pretty good quality but as with all fibreglass stuff it needed a bit of a tweak here and there. The 4 arches have a mounting flange that is supposed to sit flat against the face of the wing but I found there were gaps here and there as I'm sure no two Rover wings are identical.

A few hours with a hacksaw and some fibreglass lay up later and it all fitted...

BTW Rog, I saw your post about the price. Mine cost me 490 quid in 1990 if it's any consolation!

hey dan i dont think it was as far back as that, might have been late 2004/early 2005 yeah it was a 998 i think, but it was for sale with the same pics you have there.
