a LIL fishing village on the coast - Newcastle Upon Tyne

yes but when they update the computers that mr Feebs has now had 65 warnings for plating offences, it leaves the next coppa that stops him with no discretion (cops need to be seen to take positive action against repeat offenders regardless of offence comitted)and as Labour government have slapped performance indicators on police forces, that ticket will write itself time and time again with ease :( Feebs, as you say mate suck it and see the worst they can do is hand you a NEFPN (Non Endorsable Fixed Penalty Notification) ie 30 quid if you think u will get heat about em u can easily take em off just be polite if u get stopped *wink*

To be honest unless you try really hard to upset the police you're unlikely to get more than a verbal warning as anything else requires them filling in vast amounts of paperwork, which they'd rather avoid.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

I got a £60 fine a couple of years ago for having 'incorrect spacing' on my plates (bit of a local crackdown). They were incorreclty spaced but standard plates and font style. The only saving grace was they screwed up filling in the fixed penalty notice so got a letter telling me on this occasion they would pursue the matter further!

i have incorrect spacing of letters on my every day car. i do about 20,000 miles a year and no one has said a word and it passed the MOT!!!

as long as feebleuk is going for correct spacing but with wrong background no one will notice let alone care.

Hi,
Mmm, carbon fibre. I fancy some in 12x3 with a clear number plate stuck on top. *wink*
