flippinheck, is the window ok?

sorry bad joke. stick with it buddy. lock the garage for a while untill youve chilled out and start missing the mini again. ive been so close to selling mine on loads of occasions its un real.

this is what id do.

push the dent out from underneath, then polish paint, i rekon you could make it tonnes better, maybe even call dent wizard out some are very good.

f/g sheet the bonnet crack from the rear, then chip out any lose bits of gel-coat. now get some f/g repair paste ( its like bodyfiller but f/g and very strong. fill the front of the crack now and sand you will get it right.

you could even just paint the bonnet black for now in a fast and furious style untill funds allow it to be painted correctly.

good luck and see you at avon!!

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

I done a similar thing with mine, but i did it all by myself, managed to tear a piece of paint out of one of the rear corners of the bonnet!! I was young and inexperienced and thankfully the painter did his best to touch it up and it does still show but only if you know where it is!!!

I had some kid drop an ally drinking flask on sunday at brighton on my rear quarter panel, his farther came and picked it up, looked at the car, and strutted off, leaving me very pissed of and with a chuffing great gouge in my paint work, shit happens (usually to me!!!)

I don't know if this is just me but if someone did that to my car, i would ram that drinks flask up their end pipe so hard that they would be able to taste the contents!!!!

Or is this just me being over protective?

Hi,
No. I'm sure I would do the same and I'm a really nice guy, apparently.
Cheers,

Just get on and build the car - you are likley to put a few more scratches in it while your building it up; by the tim it is finished you can get the wing and bonnet fixed and the car is likley to look even better as it will be fresh again

before I realised what had happened he was gone, my alarm went off, didint think much of it as it is sensitve, now wishing I hadcottoned on sooner, I was very tired and crabby and it would of made intersting entertainment for some. But on the brightside its just an excuse to get it back in the body shop for a tart up sooner!

Looking Sweet!!! CF bonnet will look great in contrast to the yellow.

Things like this always happen to me. It's frustrating at first but is never as bad as it seems.
