Hi, fantastic build, looking at your specs mine is goingt to be exactly the same, just your a few months ahead of me.
My engines at SC now getting the machining done, is it 2k paint you have used to do the engine, as it's something Iwas thinking of using on mine, but did not know if it wouild take the heat?

Well keep up the good work and pics coming and might get both 16v at seaburn this year.

This is super quick progress. Why o why did i insist on making all my parts! I have done another few hours on mine today and have only got the oil feed to the head and the cam adapters to show for it!

Antman progress may be slow but youve done it, im now at the stage where things seem to take an eterity made my oil filler neck today to go where the transfer breather was in stainless took forever to cut out and then bend the pipe and tig up but once it was done im glad i made it got to turn up a nice alloy cap now.

Just a few more photos progress has being slow due to diy in the house and making whatever i can out of stainless and making it all look shiney.
nearly finished the harness water pipes to finish along with fuel lines nearly there, cant waight as my v8 4x4 is draining my wallet faster than i can LOL.

Looking good there! Got my dry build sorted now and putting it all together properly now. All the parts looks very nice, do you work in machining or fabrication perchance? Particularly like the rad support, might have to evolve a version of that. *wink*

Thanks you lot, i do work in a machining environment but have aquired the machines and skills as i like to do as much as i can im an electrician by trade and work for a radiator machine company (we build the machines which make all the component parts and put them together), the last pic is my oil filler neck all the breathing is done by the tank on the rear of the engine by a 1" bore and a 1/2" bore pipe to a catch tank, cant say enough about JohnK's kit a well engineered piece of art and save so much time especialy if youre going to pay for someone to machine parts for you.

Good to hear of your progress. Mine is getting there now. Only need to make my head bottom plate to stop oil falling out and find out where my flywheel has gone?! Can't wait to hear what a moderate tune sounds like. JohnK's gold car was just like a superbike idling!!
